Canadean’s Alcohol Innovation Congress will be returning to London for its 5th year on the 29th and 30th of November, 2016. The 2015 event was our largest yet; drawing in over 200 attendees from across the alcohol categories.
The 2016 event will continue to bring together leading R&D and Innovation personnel from companies large and small. It serves as a perfect platform to discuss the latest strategies within the alcohol NPD space.
2015’s event had a strong focus on brand repositioning, and reconnecting with your consumer, including a special case study delivered by Ina Ravnanger, the Category Manager at Braastad. 2015 also featured a highly popular talk delivered by Ruskin Universities’ Professor Tim Froggett who focused on the impact of the different designs of beer taps.
We were lucky enough to have Richard Clark from Halewood International chair the conference as well as provide some background on the provenance of his brand Crabbie’s, and where the idea was formulated. He also discussed the strength in marketing the brand solely based on its ginger properties.
2015 also saw an interactive roundtable session which was summarized with a host led presentation of key takeaways from each of the roundtable discussions. These included tips for selling premium products in-store, ideas for improving glass packaging as well as a discussion on turning R&D concepts into real life commercial products.
