goPuff, the super-fast on-demand convenience store delivery service, today announced a partnership with Rosa Foods, the makers of Soylent, to distribute the ready-to-drink, nutritionally complete meal in a bottle through its on-demand platform in 12 cities. For 11 of these cities, goPuff will be the only Soylent retailer for immediate enjoyment.
Through goPuff, college students at some of the country’s largest institutions will get on-demand, immediate access to Soylent beverages for the first time. Some of the major universities covered by this partnership include UT Austin, Indiana University-Bloomington, Penn State, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Purdue University, University of Wisconsin and more.
“We’ve been impressed by Soylent’s explosive growth and are excited to offer goPuff consumers new options for convenient consumption,” said Dan Folkman, goPuff’s Vice President of Business Development. “Soylent’s commitment to providing on-the-go options for busy consumers perfectly aligns with our company’s impulse and on-demand promise. We look forward to giving people more of what they want, when they want it, no matter their location.”
“We’re excited to continue growing our distribution channels and introduce Soylent drinkable meals to even more consumers,” said Soylent CMO Adam Grablick.
“goPuff’s efficient on-demand business model and strong consumer base makes them an ideal partner to continue expanding our brand footprint across the country.”
To celebrate the launch, goPuff will offer customers free delivery on their first purchase of a Soylent single bottle for a limited time. goPuff will create a dedicated Soylent subcategory within the Drinks category on its platform, making it easy for consumers to order Soylent on its own or with any of goPuff’s other 2,000 convenience store items including snacks, ice cream, drinks, alcohol and household essentials. The service is active in 23 major U.S. markets and is open as late as 4:30am – and operates 24 hours in some cities.
Soylent’s delicious line of ready-to-drink products are designed from the ground-up to provide the vitamins, minerals, fats, carbohydrates and proteins that the body needs – all in a convenient, ready-to-drink package. Soylent is available for purchase online through the company website and Amazon, and in select brick-and-mortar retail locations in Los Angeles, CA and Austin, TX.
