“Big Geyser is the strongest non-alcoholic distributor in the New York metro market and we are proud to join their dynamic portfolio of beverage brands,” says Spindrift Founder & CEO Bill Creelman. “This partnership helps us continue to grow and makes our product more accessible, offering even more consumers a truly innovative product that prides itself on using only real ingredients.”
The new partnership becomes effective on August 25, 2017 and covers the five boroughs of NYC, Westchester, Putnam, Nassau and Suffolk counties.
“Spindrift has done an incredible job at getting consumers excited about sparkling water and the real ingredient movement,” says Big Geyser COO Jerry Reda. “We are thrilled to partner with them in this capacity and play a role in this evolving space by expanding the reach of this truly innovative product.”
Most recently, Spindrift Sparkling Water was ranked No. 385 on the 36th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. With more than 1,119 percent three-year sales growth, Spindrift also earns the place of fastest growing sparkling water brand, according to Inc. Magazine. The brand also ranks No. 16 in the Food & Beverage category, No. 13 in Massachusetts and No. 14 in the Boston metro area.
Creelman started Spindrift in 2010 as a solution to kick his soda addiction, and to create something he felt comfortable giving to his young kids. The decision to use real fruit originated from growing up on a farm in Western Mass. where his food was sourced primarily from local farms. From the kitchen to the board room, Spindrift began in Creelman’s house in Charlestown, Mass. and now has more than 30 employees. Spindrift is distributed in key retailers such as Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Target and Costco.
