‘Global’, ‘innovative’ and ‘opportunity’ are just a few of the words suppliers have used to describe this year’s IFE (The International Food & Drink Event) ahead of its opening this weekend. From Sunday 19 March, the ExCeL London will become home to the UK’s biggest food and drink event. With more than two and a half miles of exhibitors showcasing the latest industry innovations to buyers from around the world, 33 seminars addressing the most topical industry themes and nearly 40 live chef demos, the 20th edition of IFE is guaranteed to be the best and most inspiring yet.
With so many opportunities and so much to see and do between 19 – 22 March, IFE 2017 wants to ensure everyone gets the most out of their experience and so has launched a Personal Itinerary planner on its website. This brand new function enables buyers to pinpoint the products, suppliers, chef demos and seminars they want to see during their visit to create their own, personal and bespoke visitor plan.
Whilst those looking to hone in on particular trends can follow one of IFE’s brand new ‘Trend Trails’. The simple to follow maps will highlight relevant stands to source new, up and coming products in specific on-trend categories such as Free From, Fit for Kids, Private Label, Hot Beverages and Innovation on the Go. The ‘Trend Trail’ maps can be collected at the show, free of charge.
From IFE’s very first pop-up Ice Cafe to the Exporting is GREAT Hub, the new speaker stages and Networking Hubs nestled right at the heart of the action, there is a vast range of fascinating and essential content available. The innovations don’t stop just because the show does. At the end of the four-day event, IFE’s chosen charity – City Harvest – will collect the surplus product from across the show and re-distribute to good causes across the capital.
So don’t forget to register now via the IFE website (www.ife.co.uk) for your free entrance badge and save paying £25 on-the-door.
